In Iran, however, the story is far different.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics tell one side of the story:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran, 2nd\u00a0in natural gas and 4th\u00a0in crude oil reserves, ranks 19th\u00a0amongst 197 countries in regards to unemployment.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran has the highest number of unemployed college graduates.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Up to 15,000 children are in the streets and or in various jobs, 16% of whom are with an average age of 11 years.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran is among the 35 bottom countries in regards to workers\u2019 paychecks.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran has one of the cheapest labor forces in the world.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran ranks 72nd\u00a0among Middle East \/ North Africa countries in regards to creating jobs.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran, however, has a very active market of selling kidneys, bone marrow, eyeballs and even newborns\u2026 all caused by skyrocketing poverty.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran has the highest administrative corruption in the world.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran ranks third in suicide among women, with poverty being a major factor.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran ranks second only to China in executions.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran sits at the very bottom of the world\u2019s humane freedom chart.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran\u2019s prison population has increased by 333% in the past 30 years (ranking 8th\u00a0in the world)<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>6,000 to 8,000 women are homeless due to violence, drug addiction and lacking any caretakers.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Up to 35 percent of the population is living under the poverty line. Iran\u2019s own semi-official Tasnim news agency, affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards Quds Force, is known to have reported over 50 million of the country\u2019s 80 million populace lives in poverty.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>Iran has the highest number of road accidents in the world.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>30 percent of Iran\u2019s youth suffer from mental illnesses.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9876 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Alarming-Statistics-01-250x250.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These are only a small percentage of the resulting catastrophe when a country is ruled by the mullahs\u2019 regime for four decades.<\/p>\n<p>When a government renders such an outcome through its political, social, construction and cultural \u201cmanagement,\u201d only God knows what its very reactionary perspective delivers vis-\u00e0-vis women \u2013 which of course belongs to the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n<p>The main pressure of all those unbelievable numbers will be on the women of each and every family. More and more women in Iran are entering the workforce in order to help their families make ends meet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome female workers are seen in sewing workshops working for 14 hours straight\u2026 Half of the workers in brick factories are women and they are in very harsh conditions,\u201d according to Iran\u2019s semi-official ILNA news agency.<\/p>\n<p>Other Iranian and non-Iranian news agencies and outlets report further atrocities:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u201cThroughout Iran\u2019s history, female workers have been forced to endure very harsh conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Iran\u2019s House of Labor Secretary-General Alireza Mahjoub said, \u201cUnemployment among women workers has doubled in the past two years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Shahrvand daily wrote: \u201c80 percent of Iran\u2019s uninsured workers are women,\u201d adding \u201cFemale college graduates are receiving below minimum wage standards and having no insurance pensions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are women earning only 1.5 million rials a month ($35).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite all this, the Iranian woman\u2019s 40-year struggle against the mullahs\u2019 regime has never stopped. Women are specifically seen leading the charge in the recent uproar of protests across the country. This trend will most definitely increase and provide even more troubles for the ruling mullahs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>The international community is beginning to welcome 2018 Labor Day as an opportunity to improve workers\u2019 conditions across the globe.
