Woman violently arrested for not adhering to the mullahs’ dress code.\u00a0Shocking video footage shows a young woman being beaten to the floor by Iranian \u201cmorality police\u201d because her hijab was loose. The video footage sparked outrage after it was posted online.<\/p>\n

The footage shows members of the special taskforce tackling the woman, believed to be in her mid-20s, in Tehran.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Women actively take part in fourth day of protests in Kazeroun<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday, April 19, 2018, thousands of protesters including a large number of women braved heavy security forces presence and anti-riot units and marched in the main square of Kazeroun in Southern Fars province of Iran. They chanted, \u201cWe are fighting women and men, we fight against segregation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kurds in northwestern Iran have gone on strike for a fifth day to protest Tehran\u2019s extended closure of border crossings that they rely upon for vital trade with northern Iraq\u2019s Kurdistan region.<\/p>\n

Kurdish news sites said the protests have spread to at least seven towns since they began Sunday. Those towns include Baneh, Javanrud, Mahabad, Marivan, Piranshahr, Saqqez and Sardasht.<\/p>\n

Shokoufeh Yadollahi, a Yarsan woman imprisoned in the notorious Qarchak Prison of Varamin needs urgent medical care and treatment.<\/p>\n

Ms. Yadollahi was badly brutalized during arrest and subsequently under torture as a result of which she has lost her sense of smell.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mullahs rig the price of moolah in Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the second time in as many months, Iran\u2019s \u201cdollar patrol\u201d is on the streets. The country\u2019s currency, the rial, has lost a third of its value on the black market since September. On April 9th it sank to a record low of 61,000 to the dollar (when the official rate was 37,850). The next day the government imposed a rate of 42,000 and vowed to arrest anyone who bought or sold rials for what they are actually worth\u2014as it did during the previous currency crisis, which was only in February.<\/p>\n

Diplomats also said EU governments were under more pressure to protest against the Iranian regime\u2019s role in Syria\u2019s civil war following an April 7 suspected chemical weapons attack near Damascus, which the West blames on Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not a \u2018done deal\u2019 but several states have dropped their resistance,\u201d one diplomat said, citing Spain, Austria and Sweden, which had recently joined a majority in favor, Reuters reported.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Quake, at least 5.5 in magnitude, strikes southern Iran<\/strong><\/p>\n

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) \u2014 An earthquake of at least magnitude 5.5 struck in southern Iran near the country’s sole nuclear power plant on Thursday morning, shaking countries across the Persian Gulf. There was no immediate\u00a0report<\/span>\u00a0of damage or injuries.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck at 0634 GMT some 100 kilometers (60 miles) east of Bushehr. That’s home to the Bushehr Nuclear Power, the only operating nuclear power plant in Iran.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Iran regime official warns of \u2018imminent return\u2019 of popular protests<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gholam Reza Jalali, head of Iranian regime’s Passive Defense Organization and former IRGC commander, has warned of an imminent return of the popular protests because of the exacerbating crises in the country.<\/p>\n

According to ISNA the state run news agency, Jalali warned in a speech on Tuesday of what he called \u201ca group of threats and disturbances\u201d in the near future. Jalali believed that the threats might be for the internal security, external military attacks, or popular protests that revolve around the people\u2019s demands.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Iran regime to replace US dollar with euro in financial reports<\/strong><\/p>\n

TEHRAN, Iran – Iranian regime has announced plans to replace the US dollar with the euro in official financial reporting, according to state-run media.<\/p>\n

The move on Wednesday is seen as part of efforts to circumvent restrictions on accessing the US currency amid tensions with Washington, as well as prevent market instability generated due to fluctuations in the value of Iranian rial against the dollar. State-run IRNA news agency said.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Countdown Starts for Banning Telegram<\/strong><\/p>\n

The countdown has started for the disappearance of Telegram instant messaging app as Iranian regime’s leader Ali Khamenei\u2019s office said his account would shut down to protect national security. Similarly, VP Eshaq Jahangiri said that his office will longer update his channel and that it will use other native platforms instead.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Bob Corker: No, Really, Trump is Gonna Kill The Iran Nuclear Deal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daily Beast, April 18, 2018 – Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, warned on Wednesday that President Donald Trump will \u201cabsolutely\u201d withdraw the United States from the Iran nuclear deal in less than a month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think many of the people around the president\u2026 would like to see a framework agreement achieved. I think that\u2019s a better outcome for our nation both in the short and long-term,\u201d Corker told The Daily Beast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s any doubt at all\u201d that Trump will pull the U.S. out of the agreement, the senator said earlier at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast with reporters.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mysterious Iranian missile on display in Army Day parade<\/strong><\/p>\n

An unidentified air-launched cruise missile, rarely seen, was on display at Iran\u2019s Army Day parade on Wednesday. Marked with initials of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, the missile features trapezoidal grid fins \u2015 most commonly associated with U.S. missiles \u2015 and a seeker in the tip.<\/p>\n

According to Ian Williams, associate director of the CSIS Missile Defense Project, this suggests the mysterious missile is equipped with some kind of homing guidance, possibly an infrared or TV seeker.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Iran: 7 Prisoners Hanged In Gohardasht Prison Of Karaj<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Wednesday Iranian regime hanged seven men, all the victims were transferred to solitary confinement on Monday, in preparation for their executions.<\/p>\n

According to the latest\u00a0report<\/span>\u00a0of the Amnesty International, among all the recorded executions worldwide last year, more than 51 percent were carried out in Iran.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Iran Executes Bahman Varmaziyar despite Extensive Criticism<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iran on Wednesday hanged Bahman Varmaziyar, in Hamedan Prison, state media reported.<\/p>\n

However, 18 days after committing the rubbery, he turned himself to the police and returned all he had stolen to its owner, expressing his regret of his actions. The plaintiff had also dropped all charges.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of human rights activists and Persian language social media users had asked the Iranian judicial authorities to stop Bahman Varmaziyar\u2019s execution.<\/p>\n
