It is the greatest danger to freedom in the world.\u201cOur long term danger is Iran.<\/section>\n<section class=\"text-description\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-7790 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/rudy-629722-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"395\" height=\"263\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/rudy-629722-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/rudy-629722-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/rudy-629722.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 395px) 100vw, 395px\" \/>\u201cIran [is] a bigger threat than North Korea, it is expanding into an empire. North Korea is contained.\u201cThey have more technological capability and they have what is truly an insane regime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn North Korea, we\u2019re not sure about Kim Jong-un and we do have the hope that China can contain him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tensions between the US and North Korea are at an all time high.<\/p>\n<p>The secretive state has repeatedly threatened to blast the US with nuclear weapons, with supreme leader Kim even saying it would be a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailystar.co.uk\/news\/latest-news\/629601\/north-korea-missile-icbm-crbm-united-states-kim-jong-un-donald-trump-japan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;piece of cake&#8221; to drop a nuke<\/a> on the country.<\/p>\n<p>But Mr Giuliani,\u00a0who was Mayor of New York at the time of the September 11 terror attacks, warned the Iranian regime\u2019s downfall can\u2019t be brought about via military action.<\/p>\n<p>He said it would happen through a civilian revolution within the Middle Eastern superpower, which the United States can only help bring about through economic sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe [regime change] needs to happen from within. How did the regime change in the Soviet Union or Poland or in the Czech Republic?
