(AP)<\/strong> <\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\">News Source: <span class=\"source\">Al Arabiya English<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As soon as the United States elected Donald Trump as its 45th president, the media started speculating on who would replace current Secretary of State John Kerry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">A leaked document published by Buzzfeed on Thursday purportedly shows a who\u2019s who short-list of Trump\u2019s closest Republican surrogates and insiders who would be considered top candidates President-Elect Trump\u2019s cabinet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">The list of 41 names, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/johnstanton\/secretary-of-education-ben-carson-heres-a-list-potential-tru?utm_term=.umxd3pvpo#.ndkpjJ9Jm\">obtained by BuzzFeed News<\/a>, covers 13 state departments, the attorney general, Office of Management and Budget, White House chief of staff, and White House counsel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, American lawyer and diplomat John Bolton and junior Senator from Tennessee Bob Corker and were listed as possible candidates to replace Kerry as the US top diplomat.<\/p>\n<h2>Newt Gingrich<\/h2>\n<div class=\"media_box full withoutText\">\n<div class=\"media\">\n<p><a title=\"Newt Gingrich. He is perhaps remembered this year for his heated debate with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in which he accused her of being \u201cfascinated with sex\u201d for her reporting on allegations of unwanted advances and groping by Trump.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">Gingrich is said to have attended the Iran opposition conference held in Paris earlier in July and has been a fierce critic to the Iran nuclear deal signed last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">\u201cThe surrender to Iran on sanctions and nuclear weapons will be one more stage in the American defeat by a determined, dishonest and surprisingly effective theocratic dictatorship in Tehran,\u201d Gingrich <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2015\/jul\/13\/newt-gingrich-losing-war-iran\/\">wrote in article published by The Washington Times<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<h2>John Bolton<\/h2>\n<div class=\"media_box full withoutText\">\n<div class=\"media\">\n<p><a title=\"John Bolton. (Reuters)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">Bolton served as the US ambassador to the United Nations from August 2005 until December 2006 and is an American lawyer and diplomat who has served in several Republican administrations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">He was a foreign policy adviser to 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">When asked during an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, then Republican Nominee Trump named Bolton as a possible choice for Secretary of State.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">Bolton is another strong critic of the Iran nuclear deal and who has campaigned, along with his organization The Foundation for American Security &amp; Freedom, against the deal in national ads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"hide-in-mobile\">He said, <a href=\"http:\/\/ijr.com\/2015\/07\/373891-hold-ambassador-john-bolton-interview-transcript\/\">in an interview with IJReview<\/a>, \u201cIf Iran didn\u2019t have a nuclear weapons program, it would still be central banker of international terrorism.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Bob Corker<\/h2>\n<div class=\"media_box full withoutText\">\n<div class=\"media\">\n<p><a title=\"Bob Corker.
