Iranians, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as the Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK, and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) held simultaneous protests in different countries on Saturday.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Iranians, supporters of the\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organiz<\/a><\/span>ation of Iran (PMOI)<\/a>, also known as\u00a0the Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK<\/a>, and the\u00a0National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>\u00a0held simultaneous protests in different countries on Saturday, January 18, 2020, in solidarity with\u00a0Iran protests.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

They expressed support for the Iran protests and celebrated the anniversary of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>last group of political prisoners\u2019 freedom from the Shah\u2019s prison in 1979, including Iranian Resistance leader\u00a0<\/span>Massoud<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In Stockholm, the MEK and NCRI supporters held banners in solidarity with the nationwide Iran protests. They also held pictures of Mr.\u00a0<\/span>Massoud<\/span>\u00a0Rajavi honoring his dedication to the cause of freedom for the last\u00a0<\/span>five\u00a0<\/span>decades and leading the Iranian resistance through hardships with remarkable honesty and sacrifice.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The MEK and NCRI supporters in Stockholm chanted slogans such as: \u201cDown with the oppressor<\/span>;<\/span>\u00a0be it the Shah or Khamenei<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The MEK and NCRI supporters in the United States held a protest in Washington D.C. outside the White House demanding the immediate freedom of all political prisoners in Iran. The MEK supporters marched in front of the White House in support of the Iran Protests of November 2019. They also celebrated\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>last group of political prisoners\u2019 freedom from the Shah\u2019s prison.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Iranians and the MEK and NCRI supporters in the Netherlands held a gathering in front of the Dutch Parliament on Saturday, demanding the immediate freedom of all the political prisoners. They urged the international community to dispatch a fact-finding mission to Iran in order to stop further bloodshed by the regime.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the Iranian diaspora and the MEK and NCRI supporters in Hamburg, Germany, held a rally in solidarity with the Iran protests, also commemorating the anniversary of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>last group of political prisoners\u2019 freedom from prison in 1979. Some of the representatives\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0<\/span>the Iranian associations in Germany addressed the rally.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In Copenhagen, Denmark, the MEK and NCRI supporters organized a protest. They chanted slogans in solidarity with their risen compatriots during the nationwide protests in Iran, such as \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran,\u201d and \u201cDown with dictator. Down with Khamenei.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These protests supported the activities of the MEK\u2019s \u201cResistance Units\u201d in Iran and marked\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>last group of political prisoners\u2019 freedom from the Shah\u2019s prisons.<\/span>In Tehran and\u00a0<\/span>other cities across Iran<\/span>, large\u00a0<\/span>banners of\u00a0<\/span>Massoud<\/span>\u00a0Rajavi were put up with various quotes\u00a0<\/span>inclu<\/span>ding<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0\u201cThe world should know that Massoud Rajavi is our leader\u201d and \u201cThe end of the mullahs\u2019 tyranny is near.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
