Fatemeh R. was hanged in the Gohardasht Prison of Karaj. Fatemeh\u2019s death marks the execution of the 100th woman since Hassan\u00a0Rouhani\u00a0<\/a>took office as the Iranian regime\u2019s President.<\/p>\n Fatemeh was arrested in 2015 at the age of 17, for allegedly killing her husband during a family quarrel, the state-run\u00a0News.ir\u00a0website reported on December 16, 2019.<\/p>\n She was a minor at the time of committing the alleged crime,\u00a0according to<\/a>\u00a0the Women\u2019s Committee of\u00a0the National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n Iranian regime’s human’s rights record:<\/p>\n 100 women executed under Rouhani#Iran<\/a> is world’s top executioner of women Recently,\u00a0the Iranian regime executed a couple in a prison in Mashhad, north-east Iran.<\/p>\n According to the state-run ROKNA news agency, a\u00a0woman, identified as Maryam, 32, was hanged along with her husband, Mehdi R., at dawn on December 8 in the Central Prison of Mashhad.<\/p>\n Maryam was the 99th\u202fwoman to be executed during Hassan Rouhani\u2019s tenure as President of Iran\u2019s regime, the NCRI\u00a0Women\u2019s Committee\u00a0<\/a>said<\/a>.<\/p>\n She was the second woman to be executed in Iran within the span of a week, according to human rights group Iran Human Rights Monitor.\u202fAccording to Iran HRM,\u00a0Somayyeh Shahbazi Jahruyi\u202f<\/a>was\u00a0hanged\u00a0on December 4, 2019, in the Sepidar Prison of Ahvaz, southwest Iran.<\/p>\n At least 4,000\u00a0individuals\u00a0have been executed during the Rouhani term in office. The actual\u202fnumber of executions\u00a0certainly surpasses 4,000,\u202fbecause most executions in Iran are carried out secretly.\u00a0Iran\u2019s regime is holding the record of executions per capita.<\/p>\n According to Javaid Rehman, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran, so far in 2019, \u201cconservative estimates indicate that at least 173 executions have been carried out.\u201d<\/p>\n Rehman also\u00a0said at\u00a0the U.N.
