This has resulted in many school closures across this city.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-18142 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-02-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-02-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-02-678x381.jpg 678w, https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-02.jpg 690w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">The Iranian regime authorities have been constantly claiming the flood is under control and has been resolved. Locals in such areas across the country, however, say that they have not yet received any adequate state aid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">Meanwhile, the district government office in Hamidiyeh, Khuzestan province, announced on Tuesday that three villages in the vicinity of Hamidiyeh county are still submerged in floodwaters and the floods threaten three more villages in the nearby vicinity revealing that no government help has been provided since the floods hit the villages.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18147 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-04-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-04-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Aq-Qala-Flood-04.jpg 683w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">\u201cSome residents of the flood-hit areas are still living in tents, more than a month since the start of the floods in this area,\u201d the administrator of district government office said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">Furthermore, an environmentalist studying the situation there revealed &#8220;poor engineering designs of infrastructure&#8221; and the regime\u2019s &#8220;incompetence&#8221; in building bridges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">\u201cOver 400 bridges that are less than 50 years old have been destroyed during the recent floods in Iran, whereas the Sasani Bridge that was built around two thousand years ago still stands.
