In a symbolic move to garner support for residents of flood-hit areas in Iran, a group of youth dressed in muddy clothes to resemble the flood-hit people and exhibited a street show\u00a0in the city of Shiraz (Fars Province), south-central Iran. They carried simple tools representing the people\u2019s lost livelihoods during the\u00a0recent floods<\/a>\u00a0and walked down the streets of the city (See the video below).<\/p>\n

The youths were trying to display the peoples\u2019 anger and hatred toward the corrupt regime officials inaction\u00a0and local authorities failure to provide any aid to those in immediate need of food and shelter and other basic necessities following the floods.<\/p>\n

Moreover, a group of people in the city of Tabas, South Khorasan Province, eastern Iran, rallied in the streets to protest regime officials\u2019 refusal to repair the badly damaged asphalt road in a local Street. They littered the road with rocks and gravels to express their objection and protests to the regime\u2019s inaction.<\/p>\n

Protesters say authorities have been ignoring the problem despite repeated efforts by the people to have their street properly repaired. They say with every car passing, dust and haze spread all over the places making the local residents very ill.<\/p>\n
