Futile Efforts by Iran Regime’s Minister of Intelligence to Boost the Morale of the Regime Forces After IRGC Terrorist Designation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Following the US designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), the Iranian regime’s\u00a0 Minister of Intelligence, Mullah Mahmoud Alavi, appeared in Friday prayer in Tehran on April 26 and tried to boost the morale of the regime\u2019s IRGC and other depressed forces by boasting about the crackdown on Iranian people as the regime’s achievements saying words such as \u201cmajor national security reviews in light of Khamenei\u2019s breakthrough guidelines,\u201d while revealing a fraction of the actual number of arrests that have been made over the past year.<\/p>\n

According to a\u00a0Statement<\/a> by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in his belated projection of power, Mullah Alavi said<\/a>: \u201cOver the past year, 116 teams related to the PMOI have been dealt with\u201d. The mullahs\u2019 Gestapo Minister ridiculously referred to his ministry\u2019s achievements as \u201cintelligence epic\u201d that were carried out by Khamenei\u2019s \u201ctailoring\u201d that their details must be made available to the public through \u201cnational media,\u201d which refers to the mullahs\u2019 Radio and TV. In every protest and rally, people chant: \u201cOur shame, our shame, our Radio, and TV!\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s arrests in the Iranian calendar (March 21, 2018, to March 20, 2019), are far beyond what the mullahs\u2019 chief of Mafia and assassination ministry\u00a0officially admits. He intentionally did not mention arrests made by other suppressive organs such as IRC Intelligence Organization, IRGC Intelligence Protection Organization, State Security Forces (SSF) and the Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, called for the release of the arrested and sending an international delegation to meet them. While\u00a0emphasizing that the detainees are subject to torture and execution, she called for immediate action by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the High Commissioner and the Human Rights Council of the United Nations and the international human rights organizations to release them and to form delegations to visit the regime’s prisons and meet with these prisoners.<\/p>\n

The clerical regime must publish the names of all the arrested and respect all their rights in accordance with the international conventions it has adopted. Torture and mistreatment are a routine method against political prisoners. During the uprising of January 2018, at least 14 prisoners were killed under torture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
