After more than 40 years of tyranny, there is no doubt that Iran is at the cusp of another revolution. The people of Iran who have endured 40 years of torture, executions and corruption at the hands of the mullahs, are proving through their continued protests that only a regime change will solve the problems that are plaguing their country.<\/p>\n
But every building is as strong as its foundation. The stronger the foundation, the more sturdy and resistant the building will be against the test of time. The question is, what is the foundation of a revolution?<\/p>\n

Awareness, hard work, sacrifice, and the stoic embracing of trials and tribulations, relentless efforts, and giving your all\u2026 those are the right elements that create a strong foundation for a democratic revolution in any country. But how do all of these element come together?<\/p>\n
An organized movement whose members are exclusively devoted to the holy goal of freedom and democracy.<\/p>\n
Today, the MEK is manifesting its presence everywhere, from inside Iran to every corner of the globe. Iranian Resistance Units are constantly challenging the Iranian regime\u2019s icons and suppressive forces, risking their lives to write slogans in support of the just demands of Iranian protesters and to set fire on banners of Iranian regime leaders. The activities of the resistance units are playing an important role to undermine the regime\u2019s efforts to quell popular protests through show of force and suppression.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the supporters and members of the PMOI\/MEK and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) are making sure that the world hears about the plight of the Iranian people and the voices of protesters in Iran is not stifled by the mullahs and their cohorts abroad.<\/p>\n

These are the selfless people who gathered from across the world to hold a glorious demonstration in Paris<\/a> on February 8,\u00a0as Iran marked the 40th\u00a0anniversary of the 1979 Revolution. The demonstrators were there to remind the world that the solution to Iran is not to collude with the regime but to side with the people and their desires to end tyranny in their country.<\/p>\n But the Iranian opposition did not settle for a single event. A few days later, supporters of the Iranian Resistance\u00a0gathered in Warsaw<\/a>\u00a0again to be the voice of their oppressed people as officials from dozens of countries attended a ministerial summit in Poland. In their\u00a0two-day event in Warsaw<\/a>, the Iranian resistance made sure that the world knew that the mullahs do not represent the people of Iran.<\/p>\n The\u00a0protesters in Munich<\/a>\u00a0called on the EU Member States in particular to shut down the Iranian regime\u2019s embassies in Europe and expel the agents of the regime\u2019s Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) and IRGC\u2019s terrorist Quds Force. They urged the EU and US to blacklist the entirety of the MOIS and Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) as terrorist entities.<\/p>\n The Iranian Resistance is determined to not allow the mullahs to suppress the voices of the Iranian people, who have held hundreds of protests in the past year alone. This spirit of solidarity and devotion is the foundation on which the future revolution of Iran will be built on.<\/p>\n But while the regime tries to paint a twisted picture of the Iranian resistance through its media and social channels, the Resistance Units and the supporters of the great opposition movement of the Iranian people continue to challenge the regime inside and outside Iran, in every street and corner. This is why\u00a0Iranians have reason be hopeful<\/a> about the future of their country.<\/p>\n Regime Change In Iran, Recognition of Opposition\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Iranian people are calling for a regime change and recognition of the NCRI as the sole democratic alternative to the religious dictatorship ruling Iran. The message of these three days demonstrations is clear: “Recognizing Iranian People\u2019s Right to Overthrow the Mullahs Dictatorial Regime to Establish Democracy and Freedom in Iran is Imperative to Peace and Security in the Region and the World.”<\/p>\n As Mrs. Rajavi, President-elect of the NCRI said on\u00a0February 13, 2019<\/a>: “The Iranian people\u2019s immediate demand from the world and their lawful expectation from the Poland Summit is for them to recognize the right of the Iranian people\u2019s Resistance to overthrow the mullahs\u2019 theocratic regime to achieve freedom.\u00a0\u00a0pic.twitter.com\/7Q1qZ4RRiJ<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Iranian_Demonstrations_Paris_Warsaw-300x169.jpg\")
This has caused panic among Iranian regime officials and spurred state-run media and the paid hands of the Iranian regime to try to downplay the Warsaw conference and the activities of the Iranian resistance through the dissemination of falsehoods and lies.<\/p>\n
