The <\/strong>time has come for regime change in Iran <\/strong><\/em>40\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>years\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>after<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0religious dictatorship\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Iranian People’s Call to Recognize Their Rights to Resistance and R<\/strong>egime C<\/strong>hange in\u00a0<\/strong>Iran\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>for Democracy and F<\/strong><\/em>reedom\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A large number of Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance, NCRI and PMOI\/MEK, continued their major rally in Warsaw<\/a>\u00a0for the second day on Thursday, February 14, as authorities from numerous countries gathered in Poland’s capital city to attend a summit co-hosted by United States and Poland.<\/p>\n

The demonstrations followed the\u00a0huge rally by Iranians and other supporters of the NCRI<\/a>\u00a0in Paris on Friday, February 8, to mark the 40th anniversary of the Iranian people\u2019s uprising and overthrow of the Shah\u2019s dictatorship.<\/p>\n

The demonstrators are trying to voice the long-suppressed desire of the Iranian people to live in a free state. They are calling for a regime change in Iran while expressing support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran\u00a0\u00a0(NCRI) and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK\/PMOI), and urging international community to recognize their legitimate resistance for democratic change in Iran.<\/p>\n

Ministers from several countries will be discussing the situation in the Middle East and especially the threats posed by the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n

A year of continual uprisings has brought the regime ruling Iran to the brink of collapse. Iranians are relentless and angry at the entirety of the ruling system. Protests spanning 142 cities have rocked Iran\u2019s 31 provinces in 2018.<\/p>\n

Workers<\/a>, farmers<\/a>, teachers<\/a>, pensioners<\/a>, credit institutions depositors<\/a>, bazaar merchants<\/a> and hard-hit business owners,\u00a0students<\/a>, youth<\/a> and of course a large number of women who lead the protests in many cases have taken to the streets calling for change.<\/p>\n

Alarm at the protesters\u2019 affiliation to Iran\u2019s main organized resistance movement, the MEK\/PMOI, the pivotal force of the political alternative for future Iran, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has permeated the regime.<\/p>\n

The protests have shown continuity, expansiveness, growing solidarity, and are fueled by the crumbling economy that is depleted from domestic corruption and under pressure by international sanctions.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously with the two day Foreign Ministers\u2019 conference on the Middle East held in Warsaw, the several thousand Iranians who gathered close to the National Stadium said it was time to put an end to four decades of political and social repression, massacres, plunder of Iran\u2019s wealth by the regime\u2019s cronies, and misery and war forced upon the region by this regime.<\/p>\n

Protesters called on the West to impose sanctions on the regime and include the Iranian regime\u2019s IRGC and MOIS and perpetrators of crimes against the Iranian people on the EU terrorist list.<\/p>\n

They said it was time for European countries to align their voices with the voice of the Iranian people and resistance, and to end the nightmare of four decades of the Iranian regime\u2019s atrocities in Iran, the region, and the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe question is why have they recognized a regime that has invaded and occupied Iran, a regime that rules by torture and execution, plunders Iran\u2019s assets and spends the Iranian people\u2019s wealth on terrorist groups to slaughter the peoples of the region,\u201d Mrs. Rajavi added<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Iranian nation deserves this; they have proven it through long years of their quest for freedom and steadfast endurance in confronting one of the world\u2019s most oppressive and ruthless dictatorships. That includes their protests and uprisings over the past year,\u201d Mrs. Rajavi added.<\/p>\n

The Iranian regime has enjoyed the West\u2019s appeasement for many decades, allowing the mullahs to launch a massive crackdown machine inside the country, and warmongering across the region and abroad.<\/p>\n

\u201cRespect our people\u2019s struggle against religious oppression and gender discrimination. This would not be any favor or concession to our nation. Rather, it would only end the long-time abuse of the Iranian people’s rights facilitated through the West\u2019s policy of appeasement,\u201d She formulated the Resistance\u2019s demand.<\/p>\n

\"\"Former New York city mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Algerian Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali, were among the renowned personalities who took to the stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. We should not be doing business with a regime that supports terror. The Warsaw Summit should be focused on how we change Iran. How do we change their behavior against their people.\u201d\u00a0said<\/a> Mr. Giuliani.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe the alternative to this regime is Madam Maryam Rajavi. We want that the people of Iran can have their country back. We want to see a democratic Iran. A non-monarchy, non-mullah dictatorship,\u201d Giuliani added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Former Prime Minister Ghozali said: \u201cWe want stability of the Middle East and all neighbouring countries. The main menace is coming from state terrorism by the Iranian regime, and we see that violence in countries like Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. This is why the sacrifice of the Iranian people is not only for freedom in the Middle East but for the whole world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marcin \u015awi\u0119cicki, a Member of Parliament from Poland former Mayor of Warsaw affirmed:\u00a0\u201cI am here to support the democratic opposition in Iran. Poland had to fight for its freedom, and the Iranian people are doing the same. That\u2019s why we support the democratic opposition in Iran against a regime that is suppressing its people.<\/p>\n

“We support Mrs Maryam Rajavi and her 10-point plan for equal rights for men and women, rights for minorities, religion and freedom of choice. I am certain that this fight for democracy and to abolish a regime that does not respect human rights will be a successful one,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Protesters condemned the terrorist plot of the mullahs\u2019 regime against the largest opposition gathering in Paris on June 30, 2018, calling for the expulsion of agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security of the ruling regime from the United States of America and Europe. They formulated their demands:<\/p>\n

* Recognize the inalienable right of the Iranian people and resistance to overthrow the religious fascism ruling Iran,<\/p>\n

* Encourage the referral of the massacre of political prisoners in 1988 and the clerical regime’s human rights record to the UN Security Council.<\/p>\n

* Apply all necessary measures to expel Iranian regime forces and proxies from Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n

* Dismiss the Iranian regime delegation from the United Nations<\/p>\n

* Recognize the National Council of Resistance of Iran as the viable political alternative to this regime.<\/p>\n

For a sustainable democracy in Iran, the demonstrators say, the world must rely on the people of Iran and its resistance. Change in Iran is a necessity for peace and security in the region and the world.<\/p>\n

At the end of the gathering, the demonstrators marched around the National Stadium, with Iranian flags and banners waving all the way and slogans shouted by the crowd urging an end to appeasement of the mullahs\u2019 regime.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In tandem with the demonstration of Iranians\u00a0in Warsaw, the Resistance (Rebellion) Units and supporters of the Iranian Resistance inside Iran took to the streets<\/a> in various Iranian cities and voice their support for the\u00a0PMOI\/MEK<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0NCRI<\/a>\u00a0and their desire for regime change.<\/p>\n

These people braved the odds and threats posed by the Iranian regime to express their desire to live in a free country.
