{"id":13064,"date":"2018-12-14T13:56:16","date_gmt":"2018-12-14T17:56:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/?p=13064"},"modified":"2018-12-14T16:20:58","modified_gmt":"2018-12-14T20:20:58","slug":"iran-protests-caspian-depositors-chant-death-to-rouhani","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/13064\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran Protests: Caspian Depositors Chant &#8220;Death to Rouhani&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday December 11, a large crowd of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iranntv.com\/2018\/12\/11\/%D8%B4%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%B1-%D9%85%D8%B1%DA%AF-%D8%A8%D8%B1-%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C-%D8%AA%D9%88%D8%B3%D8%B7-%D8%B3%D9%BE%D8%B1%D8%AF%D9%87%E2%80%8C%DA%AF%D8%B0%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%86\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">looted creditors of the Caspian<\/a> financial institution belonging to the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in Tehran staged protest gathering in front of a Judiciary building, the so-called Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, and demanded arrest of the ringleaders who plundered the assets of the creditors through this &#8220;marauding&#8221; institution.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, also in Tehran on December 11, a group of the families of the political prisoners <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TondarCanada\/status\/1073641167231877120\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">held protest rally<\/a> at the same time calling for the release of political prisoners, including imprisoned\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/12988\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">workers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/12640\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">teachers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irandemocratic.org\/public_html\/news\/13000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">students<\/a>. They called for an end to the pressure imposed on detainees and depriving them of the minimum medical treatment.
